Upon returning from upstate New York at Hamilton College, Nicholas Kaleikini got into music production and began recording his first album with his grandfather, Hawai'i's Ambassador of Aloha, Danny Kaleikini in his grandfather's closet.  Their EP, entitled Aloooha, went on to being nominated for EP of the Year at the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards.  From there, Nicholas began his performance career with numerous groups including world-renown hip-hop artist Shing02.    With his growing experience in the music industry, Nicholas formed Kaleikini Productions with the goal of helping fellow musicians secure gigs and educating the community through programs like the POW! WOW! School of Music, a non-profit organization dedicated to free education for local students from ages 12 to 18.  Kaleikini Productions has evolved to providing entertainment services for hotels, weddings, and corporate companies.  

From 2018-2020, Kaleikini Productions managed all entertainment for Shirokiya and Vintage Cave.  Corporate clients include Howard Hughes, Neiman Marcus, Hawai'i Food & Wine Festival, POW! WOW! Hawai'i, Honolulu Country Club, Tommy Bahama, Nico's Pier 38, and Hawai'i Tourism Authority.  

We are a registered member of the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP).  We are also a proud sponsor of POW! WOW! Hawai'i School of Music, a non-profit organization dedicated to free education for local students from ages 12 to 18, and the Danny Kaleikini Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing for local non-profits involved with the arts, medicine, science, and education.  Ming Pur Records houses all our music productions.
